Haven't taken a chemistry class since barely passing high school chem 8 years ago. This book helped me reintroduce myself into chemistry and really understand that its not a scary "madman's science". I essentially taught myself with this book (my professor's teaching style and I didn't quite click) and I passed with a solid A.
As much to be expected of loose leaf, it’s the boon that matters because I needed it for chem, but I ended up bending it when I put it away and didn’t realize it was bent so it stays in that position no matter what now! Oh well still a fantastic deal for a college student because in school they were closer to like $150
A good book but I feel that it breaks off from the explanation of the topic and breaks off into a "how would you use this in a medical situation." As if this was geared towards a pre-med chemistry sequence.
An entire chapter was missing.--unacceptable in a textbook needed for a student. Amazon sent a second copy with the same problem.Got quite the runaround with offshore tech support when trying to fix the problem/receive missing pages. No decrease in price offered by Amazon. Very dissatisfied long time Amazon Prime customer
Very helpful book but binding broke after 2 days. I am extremely careful with text books so I didn’t think it would break so soon

Obviously used, but great nonetheless! Rental fee beats paying $180 for a textbook you should only use one semester!
